​​​​Youth Enhancement Program 


The Family Advocates Youth Enhancement Program is a free and voluntary support program available to the children of our enrolled parents. This program engages children and youth in age-appropriate activities that building social and emotional growth, school-readiness, and leadership skills. ​​Youth are ages 0-18 and attend a group 1-3 times a week. The older youth are encouraged to participate in activities and lead younger children, encouraging peer support and role modeling.

Volunteers Needed!

​The YEP volunteers are friendly and caring adults (over 21 years of age) with experience in child development, education, parenting, and/or leadership. Volunteers lead by positive example--keeping children safe and feeling nurtured. They are dependable and committed to the well-being of the whole family, are unbiased, and provide positive feedback to parents.  Volunteers work with the Director to offer fun, age-appropriate, educational activities and set consistent boundaries to the youth groups. All volunteers complete training and a thorough background check.​
