"Michelle Edmonds of Today's 6 and FOX 9 started Community Baby Shower while she was pregnant with her second child. She saw a need to help young mothers and families get a jump-start on parenting, and decided that it was time to do something about it. That's when she called in a few local non-profits to help educate and create awareness within the community. Nine years later, Community Baby Shower is bigger than ever.
Last year, Idaho stepped up and donated more than 1,000 packages of diapers, over 800 boxes of wipes, sets of new clothing, blankets and formula. The biggest need this year is diapers, wipes and formula, but other donations can include new clothing, baby care products, and of course, monetary contributions.
Donations can be dropped off at or purchased from Albertsons stores in Southern Idaho, all the way from Ontario and Payette to Mountain Home and Twin Falls."
