Your Passion, Our Support

At Family Advocates, our programs rely on volunteers to help us strengthen families and keep kids safe.  We are always looking for more volunteers in our office, with our programs or to help with specific events or tasks.

If you're interested in volunteering with any of the Family Advocates' programs, the first step is to attend a Volunteer Orientation.  These take place every first Tuesday of the month from 9:30 - 11:00 am or every third Tuesday of the month from 5:30-7:00 pm at our office in Boise. These orientations will help you find the right volunteer opportunity for your schedule.

Contact our office at 208-345-3344 to RSVP for an agencywide orientation. Here's what to expect at the orientation:

  • Information on all of our programs and the goals of Family Advocates.
  • Volunteer Applications will be filled out after the orientation.
  • A $45 background check donation will be requested, scholarships are available--money won't prevent you from being a hero!
  • Our many thanks!
